SABA and Workforce Development will have paid summer employment for eligible, dependable, and hardworking students. Students must:
SABA stall will interview the students at their school district. Selections will be based on interviews, completed paperwork, school recommendations and the meeting of income requirements. Students will earn $9.70 per hour.
Applications are due Tuesday, May 2, 2017.
Programs are in Construction I & Construction II, Culinary Arts, IT and CyberSkills at OHM BOCES and Healthcare at Mohawk Valley Health Systems.

SUNY Upstate is hosting series of Career Awareness Days this summer for students currently in grades 10-12 with a minimum 88 high school average. There is a small fee of $15 for lunch ($5 for free/reduced lunch students). Space is limited to 24 students per day.
Nursing & Respiratory Therapy: June 28th
Medicine and Physician Assistant: June 29th
Medical Technology, Medical Biotechnology & Biomedical Sciences: July 19th
Physical Therapy: July 27th

OHM BOCES Career and Technical Education Center is holding free summer camps for students entering 7th through 10th grades. The camps run 8:30am-3:00pm and are held on their campus on Middle Settelment Road. The programs offered are:
June 26-29, 2017 Creative Cooking
July 10-13, 2017 Introduction to Policing Procedures, Self Enhancement, Introduction to Cybersecurity or Health Careers

Seniors - College credits earned through dual enrollment with any college or university or earned any other way whiile in high school will not appear on your high school transcript, which includes only high school credits. If you want your intended college to be informed of any college credits earned, you must contact the college through which the credits were earned and request that they send a transcript to your intended college. MVCC transcripts can be requested at www.mvcc.edu/registrar/transcripts.
